Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using our workspace booking platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.
Platform Description
Our platform connects individuals and businesses who have workspace available ("Hosts") with professionals seeking temporary workspace ("Guests"). We facilitate bookings, payments, and communication between parties but are not a party to the actual workspace rental agreements.
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
- You must verify your identity when requested
Account Responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Update your information to keep it current and accurate
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Host Obligations
Listing Requirements
- Provide accurate descriptions and photos of your workspace
- Ensure you have legal authority to rent the space
- Maintain the workspace in the condition described
- Comply with local zoning and business licensing requirements
- Provide safe and accessible workspace environments
Host Responsibilities
- Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
- Honor confirmed bookings unless extraordinary circumstances arise
- Provide agreed-upon amenities and services
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Treat all guests with respect and without discrimination
Guest Obligations
Booking Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your workspace needs
- Use the workspace only for its intended business purposes
- Respect the host's property and follow house rules
- Leave the workspace in the same condition as found
- Pay all fees and charges as agreed
Prohibited Activities
- Subletting or transferring bookings without permission
- Using the space for illegal activities
- Bringing more people than agreed upon
- Smoking in non-smoking spaces
- Damaging property or equipment
Booking and Payment Terms
Booking Process
- Bookings are confirmed when payment is processed successfully
- Hosts may accept or decline booking requests at their discretion
- All bookings are subject to availability
- Special requests must be agreed upon by both parties
Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of booking confirmation
- We charge a service fee for facilitating bookings
- Hosts receive payment after successful completion of bookings
- All payments are processed through secure third-party providers
- Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy
Guest Cancellations
- 24+ hours before: Full refund minus service fees
- 2-24 hours before: 50% refund
- Less than 2 hours: No refund
- Emergency cancellations may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Host Cancellations
- Hosts who cancel confirmed bookings may face penalties
- Guests receive full refunds for host-initiated cancellations
- Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension
- Emergency situations are evaluated individually
Platform Rules and Conduct
Prohibited Conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
- Fraudulent or misleading information
- Circumventing platform fees or payment systems
- Spamming or unsolicited commercial communications
- Violating intellectual property rights
- Attempting to hack or disrupt platform operations
Content Guidelines
- All content must be accurate and not misleading
- Photos must represent the actual workspace
- Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
- No offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content
Liability and Insurance
Platform Liability
We act as an intermediary platform and are not liable for:
- Actions or omissions of hosts or guests
- Property damage or personal injury
- Disputes between users
- Quality or condition of workspace
- Compliance with local laws and regulations
User Responsibilities
- Hosts should maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Users are responsible for their own actions and safety
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Intellectual Property
The platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain rights to their own content but grant us a license to use it for platform operations. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.
Dispute Resolution
Platform Mediation
- We provide support for resolving disputes between users
- Users should first attempt to resolve issues directly
- Our support team can facilitate communication and solutions
- We may make final decisions on platform-related disputes
Legal Disputes
Any legal disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California, and will be governed by California law.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, illegal activities, or behavior that harms the platform community. Users may also delete their accounts at any time through their account settings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
